This is a presentation about the potential research collaboration between MDH and New Zealand’s MIT and OP institutes of technology (polytechnics). The NZ research team’s background is introduced first, including past and current research projects. This is followed by coverage of the latest cutting-edge trends in FPGA technologies and architectures, including today’s bleeding-edge “FPGA AI Race”. As a result, IDT’s DeepMaker project is introduced next, followed by presentation of “work-in-progress” ideas for research collaboration between MDH, MIT and OP in this area.
