Marcus Bengtsson is a researcher in maintenance management. He studied Mechanical Engineering Design at Mälardalen University, in Eskilstuna Sweden. He received a M.Sc. from Mälardalen University in 2002, and a Ph.D. in 2007 for a thesis on implementation of condition based maintenance in industrial settings. Marcus is currently working at Mälardalen University as a Researcher and at Volvo Construction Equipment Operations Eskilstuna as a Maintenance Engineer, where he is responsible for the implementation of condition based maintenance within the maintenance organization.
His research interests can be found within Maintenance Management and the introduction of condition based maintenance in particular.
