Nasir Mehmood Minhas, Post Doc


Nasir Mehmood Minhas completed his PhD in Software Engineering in 2022 and his Licentiate in Software Engineering in 2019 from Blacking Institute of Technology (BTH), Sweden. He completed his MS in Computer Science from COMSATS University, Islamabad, Pakistan, in 2006. From 2008 to 2016, Minhas served as an Assistant Professor at Aired Agriculture University Rawalpindi, Pakistan. Earlier, he worked with Allama Iqbal Open University, Islamabad, Pakistan, from 2001 to 2008.

Nasir Mehmood Minhas works in software process, requirement engineering, and software testing. Besides the software engineering research areas, he also works on allied topics, including research ethics, the teaching of research methods, projects management, and sentiment analysis.
Most of his work is on empirical research focusing on appraising and improving software engineering practice. He has been involved in an industry-academia collaboration project,  EASE (The Industrial Excellence Centre for Embedded Applications Software Engineering). He has also worked with ELLIIT - a strategic research environment funded by the Swedish government, to support strong research in information technology and mobile communications. He is working on the optimization of regression testing in embedded system development. His most recent venture is to support testing practitioners in improving their regression testing process.
